Main Photographer/Videographer and Designer… Sometimes comic relief
I’d love to say I’m the brains behind the scenes, but my wife proves again and again that she is that so much more than I am! My background is actually Graphic Design, but I fell in love with photography in college and videography after I graduated. I’m sure that a massive portion of that comes from a love for movies and cinematography. (I’ll probably get most movie references you could think to make and I often wonder how much more I could memorize if it weren’t for movie lines.)
I have been shooting weddings for 5 years now and I love how photography continuously pushes me as a creator, artist, and as a person. I originally saw this as a job that could pay for me to pursue a love of working with a camera, but it rapidly evolved into so much more. We believe that we are doing so much more than pointing a camera and pressing a button. We are story tellers, memory captors, romance enthusiasts, and so much more. Weddings are about more than a day. We are grounded in faith of a God that created every person to love and be loved. And whether you believe that, or not, is actually fine to us. It just guides us in our endeavor to capture true, raw, emotional love between couples, friends, and family.
There are times that we are capturing the first loving steps of people in life, or some of the last precious memories of love that has lived a full life. That is why we care about our work so much. Our pursuit is for you to have memories captured to have and hold for the rest of your lives and heirlooms for your generations after you.
I’m your point of contact on your wedding day, as I am the head shooter for our team. It is always my goal to be your friend, champion, and easiest vendor on your list, because we never want to be “just a vendor.” We are here to walk with you through your planning process, your big day, and every moment you want captured after “happily ever after.”
Kara and I both love travel, and this has been a main push for me in this job. We love to go places with people and capture their love in amazing places, because we believe love is made to be as amazing as the world we live in.

If you have seen anything on social media or copywriting on our website, I’ve probably been a part of it. My main love is connections. From connecting us to couples that just fit and become instant friends to making sure your experience through your planning process is everything you could imagine it to be. I grew up in a family of photographers and I picked up a camera and shot my first wedding at 9… I know crazy; that would have me shooting for almost 20 years! But let’s be real, I really started to take it serious in high school and shot full time for years. When Christian and I met (due to photography), we started to talk about beginning our own adventure of business together and growing something beautiful of our own. That’s when I fell in love with all other aspects of photography. Chances are I will be one of your main points of contact and I can’t wait to get to know you better!
A few things that make me who I am: You can easily win my heart with a cup of coffee… that may be how Christian caught me. Travel isn’t just a dream or a hope of mine; it’s a way of life. To give you an idea Christian and I have been to 5 countries and over 17 states in our short three years of marriage. We were best friends for two years before he ever got the hint he should ask me out. My best friend is our fur baby. On my days off, you can find me with a great self–help book, doing anything outside or rewatching Gilmore girls for, like, the 10th time. My faith is everything to me. I wouldn’t be who I am today with out the grace of God.

Emotional support and bestest friend to all who meet me
A few of my favorite things include pets, playing outside, watching the squirrels from the window and dreaming of chasing them. I love sleeping on all things soft and comfy. I get my way most days by just giving my parents (mom) sad puppy eyes. They’re wrapped around my paw.
